ek yaad badi bimaar thi kal,
kal saari raat uske maathe par,
barf se thande chand ki patti rakh rakh kar-
ek ek boond dilaasa de kar,
azhad koshish ki usko zinda rakhne ki!
pau fatne se pehle lekin ---
aakhri hichki lekar woh khamosh hui!!
